Three Things to Look for in a Real Estate Agent

Buying a home can be a nerve-wracking and emotional experience. That’s why it’s so important to make sure you’re receiving top-notch guidance.

There are three questions that buyers should ask themselves before picking a real estate agent, according to Daniel Hernandez, vice president, international, Realty One Group: Are they good? Do they care? Can I trust them?

“This may be the largest purchase in your life, so that’s why it’s important that you ask these questions,” said Hernandez.

This is key now that buyers may now need to pay the real estate agents they work with as a result of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) settlement. Before the settlement, sellers generally compensated the buyers’ agents.

Buyers can research agents online, look at how much experience they have, and see how invested agents are in their needs before choosing one.
