The 5 Professionals Homebuyers Want on Their Real Estate Team

In today’s competitive real estate market, it often takes a team to help homebuyers be successful.

Buyers generally want to work with an experienced real estate agent in their area and a loan officer who can help them to navigate the mortgage process.

“Your real estate agent is going to help you find your lovely home, the house that you really, really want,” said Raulyer Hernandez, a New American Funding branch manager in Orlando, Fla. “The loan officer gets you approved for a loan.”

They will also probably work with a home appraiser, who is generally assigned by the lender to value the home, a home inspector, who will assess the condition of the home, and a real estate attorney or title company representative.

The attorney will help to structure the deal, while the title company will help you transfer the title and ensure there are no liens against the property.
