Unfortunately we had a similar experience as the reviewer Kapiolani L. had with this lender and Tamara. This is the first bad review I have ever given to a business and it saddens me that I have to be that person. There was no truth in lending on the onset of this loan, lots of unfortunate last minute surprises after we were in with hard money. If Newamerican Funding or Lindsey would have at least attempted to right a few wrongs I would not be forced to write this review, we don’t want anyone to go through what we did along with the other client.

Do not use NAF they will rip you off over-charge you on fees and screw you to the wall. Be careful.

This lender will try and force you info foreclosure! I have spent over an hour trying to pay them over $4000 and all I want is a recipte. They would not provide it. I called the Corp customer service number, the local office, the number on the statement and get the same answer. DO NOT use them.

Sam is a terrible loan officer. He should not be licenced. Until we walked into the meeting to sign the papers, we were not sure we would have enough money to close. Sam underestimated the amount of money we needed to close by $30K -- and didn't tell us until 6:00pm the night before. Banks were closed and we didn't have a way to get the money. If I could have pulled out of the house without losing out 20% ($120K) down, I would have. He almost ruined our lives. He is lucky we didn't sue him.
