The process was not smooth. I kept having to get more and more information or document. Kept asking for employment verification 3 time. Had to call the title company my self, and they didn't know that I was in San Diego. There was alot of confusion. When it could been smother.

Overall happy with the deal New American Funding was able to offer. Process was slow, but its understandable due to the backlog with the increase of refinances. I would have appreciated a checklist up front with all possible documents needed rather than asking for documents last minute. Checklist would have better prepared me to have documentation ready pre-hand and not scrambling last minute to submit documents in a very short amount of time.

It probably was the virus, it took three times as long as any previous refinance we have done and it wears you out, when it seems that it will never end. Even after escrow is closed, we still having problems with escrow paying scheduled bills.

Considering the circumstances of everything right now I don’t know that Sean is solely to blame but the amount of time it took to get this refinance taken care of was entirely too long. We appreciated his knowledge and aid in any questions. We just wish this was something that could have been wrapped up in a more timely fashion.

I had many questions throughout the whole process and everyone was answered with detail. My schedule at work comes with long hours and late nights. This made my phone calls to Heath outside of normal business hours and he never missed them. Keeping himself available at any time of the day was amazing along with my only option throughout. Any future business will be made with Heath Edgar, it was a pleasure working with him every step of the way.

Sam Kiani was great... it was the underwriter who took so long. I wasn’t being updated regularly so it was frustrating wondering what was the hold up. We started the process mid July and finally got approved week of 9/21. Signed paperwork and finally funded on 9/25. The process took over 2 months, which is not what I expected. Underwriter was not thorough and kept needing different documentation every week.
