Is better to have more than enough information ahead of time so you don't have to rush last minute to get it done and get set back

This is my second experience with New American Funding. Reps are personable and easy to have conversations with. They provide good advice. Response time from reps could be a little better.

I'm sorry but I never had the chance to work with you directly, most/all interactions was with lower loan officers. Nothing bad to say here.....

Stan was very helpful and quick helping us get a loan with our refi in Feb and recently. The issue was with the underwritter Toy on our recent refi. She did not seem to know exactly the procedures on our loan. I kept having to call and check on why certain things were being done. I'm an Asset Mgr for Fannie Mae and have been on the default REO side of the business for years. I understand the process. Our recent refi should have been very easy.

It was a confusing process working with so many different people. Cari, Allen, Hannah, Jen, Eric. This was our 5 th time buying a home and by far the most frustrating experience. I had trouble logging into Qualia on several occasions. I could only get into it when a document was sent over but if I had to ask it to resend my password it said I didn't have an account. Then we got the final closing statement and wired money using that document. When we got to closing we were told that we owed approximately $270 more. Thankfully the day before closing the seller agreed to $350 in repair costs and we used that money to cover the additional mystery cost at claoing. We still think we are owed $270 but we let it drop just to be done with the whole thing.

I'm glad we were able to get it done, but the process seemed to take a while to get going. I think there was some confusion on what was still needed from us because there wasn't a whole lot of communication in the beginning and then when things got going we had to resubmit everything again because it had been a few months and had to upload the documents from the most recent months.
