My buyer was young and didn't know anything about how a mortgage loan process should go. He started with another loan originator that did NOT lock in his interest rate when he should have. Aryeh did not seem to think this was a problem that he could resolve and never addressed the issue. It was NOT my buyer's fault that his original loan officer left and yet he was penalized by a much higher interest rate! If I hadn't called and questioned every step of the way about the process, I would not have learned anything about my buyer's loan and I doubt we would have closed on time. The closing package wasn't even emailed to the correct email address until I caught the mistake!

No lectures but actual solutions. This will fall on deaf ears. No one wants to hear excuses. Sometimes an apology for an inconvenience experienced goes a long way. I got none. Not even when your error cost many people time & money

We sell Florida real estate. To have a financial institute in North Carolina and a loan processor in California is beyond me. It was a horrible experience for my buyer. She was so stressed. I was very disappointed. I do not believe I have ever had such an experience.

It wasn't Braxton at all. He had to the pay the price for the rest of the exp. We are still struggling to find the information to send the pay off checks. The process is ridiculous. Additionally, we have check that are not correct, written out to companies my husband does not owe and wrong amounts, that should have been credited to the mortgage company and not refunded to us. So New American Funding are thieves so far. Additionally, we can't get a call back from anyone. And now Braxton is no longer with New American Funding. So what should we do now?????????????

This was my first experience with home buying. The communication seemed to be really good at first when I was determining which lender to go with. My only complaint is that towards the end there was hardly any communication or updates on the loan status. I could go for days without hearing anything and then I would receive only an email that had time constraints attached. In the future I would like to see maybe a phone call with an explanation on upcoming documents or emails. Overall I am pleased with the experience and Megan did a good job, I just wished there had been more communication towards the end.

There were a few points where I felt like I was just on the wrong page but in a complete different book. Somethings could have been explained more in depth. Understanding all my options wasn't super clear. Glad everything worked out just felt lost, more often than not.
