"There were very long delays in the underwriting process. I applied on August 4 and didn’t close until November 18. Although there were some extenuating circumstances, there were also long stretches with no updates from underwriting. At times I would wait nearly two weeks, only to learn, for example, that the documentation I had submitted wasn’t quite right, or that something else was needed. Mark was fantastic throughout. He couldn’t speed up the process, but he always answered my calls and was upfront about the status."
