"My wife and I started this journey in 2019 and moved into her childhood home to take care of her elderly parents. The house became ours shortly after their passing. The house was in need of major rennovations and repairs, not too mention consistent having power bills over $1000 a month for 3-4 months of the year (at which the temperature in the house was still 85 degrees). At the point we met Alyssa, we had exhausted everything we had financially, physically and emotionally to bring the house back up to code as best as we could. To say the least we over extended ourselves trying to make living in my wife's childhood home a possibility. Not too mention Rocket Mortgage put us in a terrible spot after needing to do a loan modification years ago. To say the least we were ready to throw in the towel and either file bankruptcy or sell the house no matter how painful and upset my wife and children were. Then we met Alyssa. Alyssa was the hope that we needed. She was more than just another person trying to sell a home with empty promises, she truly cared about us, our family and our vision. We are simple people and have always wanted someone that cared, had integrity and was honest. She was all those things and more. She is part of our family now. She is the consistent, honest and loving person more people need. We are so thankful for her and New American Funding for giving my wife and I the opportunity."
