Patty Arvielo Selected to Speak at Facebook’s Employee Leadership Event

Tustin, CA – New American Funding, a national mortgage banker, announced today that its President, Patty Arvielo, will speak at Facebook, where she will address employees on the forum theme, "Unleashing the Economic Power of Women." Arvielo will speak to employees at the corporate headquarters in Menlo Park, CA, for a fire chat, which is a leadership event that provides a platform for leaders working at the social media company to engage a Latino leader.

Facebook invited Arvielo to share her life experiences, upbringing as a Latina, lessons learned as an entrepreneur, and accomplishments as a means of helping leaders within the company grow individually and professionally. The forum will be hosted by Facebook's Latin@ and Women@ committees and will be followed by Questions & Answers with Arvielo.

As co-founder of New American Funding, Arvielo manages operations and sales for the company's headquarters, branches, and 2000+ employees. She also impacts the community through initiatives such as Latino Focus Committee, which she spearheads as an avenue to empower Hispanic consumers in pursuit of homeownership. Arvielo has been recognized for her leadership by Ernst & Young as Entrepreneur of the Year for Orange County, an Elite Woman in Mortgage by Mortgage Professional Magazine, and as the 2016 Business Award winner by LA Times Latinos de Hoy.

Patty is the second speaker in a series of notable leaders to address Facebook employees; the first was Mike Krieger, co-founder of Instagram.
