NAWRB Roaring Twenty Awards Honor Patty Arvielo with the Gershwin Award

Tustin, CA – New American Funding today announces the National Association of Women in Real Estate Businesses (NAWRB) Roaring Twenty Awards will honor their President, Patty Arvielo, with the Gershwin Award. This is the third consecutive year the association has honored Arvielo.

The Gershwin Award recognizes someone who is a successful business woman, while mentoring fellow NAWRB members to foster growth and new talent. NAWRB is an organization dedicated to providing women the tools and opportunities for economic expansion and growth, while advocating and promoting women-owned businesses specializing in the housing economy. Every year, their Roaring Twenty Awards honor women who thrive and break down barriers in the housing industry.

Arvielo makes time to be of service in the industry and her local community by serving on the Corporate Board of Governors for NAHREP, the Diversity Committee for the Mortgage Bankers Association, the affordable lending panels for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and the Executive Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters Orange County (BBBS). She spearheaded the creation of the Latino Focus Committee within her company, whose mission is to identify and address challenges Hispanic consumers face in their pursuit of homeownership.

"I feel so proud to be recognized for the third time by NAWRB along with these inspirational women. It's incredibly fulfilling to lend support and guidance to other women in my industry, and it’s so amazing to watch them grow and flourish in their careers," commented Arvielo.

NAWRB will host a weekend conference, including a Roaring Twenty Awards Gala in Costa Mesa, CA on August 31, 2016. The 1920s themed celebration takes cue from the decade known for drastic transformations, particularly in the role of women. Awards at the Gala include The Flapper, The Gatsby, The Charleston, and others.
