Fortune and Great Place to Work® Name New American Funding A Best Workplace for Women for Second Consecutive Year
New American Funding has been named a Top Workplace for Women in the country for the second consecutive year by Fortune and Great Place to Work®. The national mortgage lender ranked #30 in the nation on the fourth annual list of 75 Best Workplaces.

The annual list recognizes organizations that stand apart from their peers in creating a workplace that goes above and beyond for their female employees. Rankings are determined by employee surveys. The survey consists of questions regarding culture, leadership, fairness and other elements essential to an excellent work environment.

Arvielo empowers women in her organization by creating mentorship programs and ensuring women team members always have a place at the table. Women comprise of more than half of New American Funding’s total workforce at about 57%, with many holding C-level positions.
Through Arvielo’s initiative, “If You Want to Grow, We Want to Know,” employees can openly share with her their goals and aspirations to advance in the company. Patty also established “Thrive and Lead” to provide New American Funding employees and external mortgage professionals intensive mentoring for a period of three months.
