As New American Funding’s Chief Investment Officer, Jason Obradovich is instrumental in driving the continued growth and success of one of the nation’s leading independent mortgage companies. With a deep expertise in capital markets and a proven ability to navigate market volatility, Jason plays a pivotal role in the organization. 

Jason oversees pricing, trading, hedging, investor relationships, mortgage servicing rights, warehouse financing and liquidity management. Since joining New American Funding in 2013, he has built and led high-performing teams across Capital Markets, Pricing, Finance, and Business Intelligence. 

With an extensive career spanning public mortgage banks, banks, credit unions, and independent mortgage banks, Jason is adept at managing complex scenarios while enhancing the company’s public profile. He is a prominent figure at New American Funding, featuring in a monthly video series that educates consumers, business partners, real estate agents, loan officers, and employees on mortgage market trends and their broader impacts. 

Jason brings over 27 years of experience to his role. Before joining New American Funding, he served as Chief Investment Officer for a California Credit Union and previously managed capital markets and portfolio strategies for a large national lender.
